Liverpool target Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s chances of signing a new contract with the Gunners are “virtually nil”, according to Sky Sports.
The report claims that sources close to the player have revealed that negotiations with the club have hit a deadlock as the England star is not planning to have further discussions and is highly likely to leave this summer despite flying out with the squad for their pre-season tour of Far East.

Arsenal completed club record acquisition of Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon for £52m last week and reports following the Frenchman’s arrival claimed that the Gunner’s hierarchy is adamant that they will not sell any of their wantaway stars this summer.
While Chelsea and Manchester City also remain interested in acquiring Oxlade-Chamberlain services this summer, the England international is said to be keen to revive his career under Jurgen Klopp who is known for getting the best out of players.
The 23-year-old’s contract with the Londoners will expire next summer and thus is expected to cost around just £20m-£25m despite Arsenal’s earlier demands of £35m.
It is believed that bringing in a dynamic midfielder is one of the top priorities for Jurgen Klopp this summer and while Naby Keita is surely on the top of his wanted list, Oxlade-Chamberlain will immensely improve our squad depth with his dynamism.
